For those who don't know us that well, Women on Web is an international online telemedicine abortion service, with 15 years of experience in supporting people to self-manage their abortions with abortion pills. WOMEN ON WEB WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Women on Web recently turned 15 years old and welcomed Venny Ala-Siurua as our new Executive Director. She is succeeding our founder, Dr. Rebecca Gomperts, who successfully led Women on Web for 15 years and will continue as our Research Director. WOMEN ON WEB PROVIDES FREE ABORTIONS FOR POLISH PEOPLE WITH FETAL INDICATIONS
Poland's near-total ban on abortions came into effect in February 2021 and abortion in the case of foetal abnormality is no longer allowed to be carried out in the country. Women on Web is committed to continue providing free medical abortions for persons who need pregnancy terminations due to fetal indications. In 2021 alone, Women on Web has responded to over 10,000 messages from Poland under the new draconian abortion law. Please consider donating to the abortion fund through our website.

10-YEAR EVALUATION OF WOMEN ON WEB SERVICE
Women on Web analyzed the follow-up evaluations of 30,344 service users over a 10-year period and 99% found our service to be an acceptable abortion method. The recently published research concluded, once again, that self-managed abortions are a safe, effective, and acceptable option to end early pregnancies. GOOGLE AI CONTINUES TO POSE THREATS TO ONLINE ABORTION SERVICES
Venny Ala-Siurua (WoW Executive Director) and Amalia Handayani (WoW Help desk and Asian Development & Outreach Coordinator) held a lightening talk at Rights Con about Google's artificial intelligence and how it's penalizing online abortion services and hampering people's search for safe abortions.
