Ireland: 8th Amendment Oficially repealed and abortion services available for free in January

After the legal challenges concerning the outcome of the referendum were dismissed by the Irish courts, the 8 th Amendment was finally officially repealed. Irish President Michael D Higgins signed the abortion referendum bill into law.
The Irish government announced that abortion services wil be available for free starting January 2018.
