Calling All Visual Arts Students
Women on Web wants to see your artwork!
We are launching a fun and engaging contest that aims at challenging students to come up with a concept for what choice, bodily autonomy, women's rights, feminism, and activism means to them.
Our aim is to get students to think critically about what role their art has in activist and grassroots settings and to come up with an image that best represents this.
We will countdown the top 5 finalists on our social media, with a bio and a link to other works.
The winner will be featured on the website and have their image printed on some WOW merchandise.
We will also offer a webinar chat with WOW's own Dr. Rebecca Gomperts about the importance and intersection of arts and activism.
The winner will be selected based on the image that best represents choice, autonomy, feminism & activism in alignment with WOW's work and identity.
Submissions by April 30th 2021.
Please send us an email to info@womenonweb.org with the title "Arts Submission" in the subject line.
